Thank you to all who joined us for the successful return of the In the Spirit coffeehouse on December 7th. A night full of wonderful performers who treated us to amazing music and poetry. The evening ended with a festive carol sing to get us all “In the Spirit” for the holidays!

A fun and educational Steel Drum concert by the New Britain Symphony Orchestra’s Steel Drum Ensemble was held on October 27th.
Attendees were treated to an up close look at the Steel Pan, as well as other educational information about these great instruments and the music played on them.

Attendees enjoyed a fun night of creativity and Fall-themed refreshments while making beautiful Glass Votive Candle Holders to take home!

Thank you to all who joined us for the Connecticut Handbell Musicians concert on September 15th. The ringers, including C.C.P.’s own Joanna & Jocelyn, put on a wonderful show and we learned a little about how the bells are rung in between songs. Beautiful job ringers!
The official kick-off of the Save Our Steeple Capital Campaign happened on July 31st, which was the 174th Anniversary of the dedication of our church building.
A rainy day prompted us to move inside but a good time was had by all who joined us to celebrate our Church Building’s 174th year and kick-off our Save Our Steeple Campaign. Thank you to all who helped with this event!
In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, C.C.P. welcomed Dr. Ju-Yong Ha and Jung Hee Oh to our sanctuary to introduce Traditional Korean Music through performance and illumination. A wonderful and informative performance was enjoyed by all who attended.
The New Britain Symphony Orchestra’s Beatles String Quartet graced our hall on March 3rd. An incredible selection of Beatles music was performed and we even learned a new thing or two about the songs when the group introduced each song. A well attended event that was raved about long after the instruments were packed up. We look forward to having the NBSO join us again in the future!
C.C.P. kicked off their second season of community concerts with a Standing Room Only performance by the Plainville High School Concert Choir & Jazz Band. With more than 125 people in att4endance the PHS Music program wowed all with incredible performances.
